Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Therapy
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Job Description
- Provide infusion therapy in an infusion suite setting, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, and other infusion treatments.
- Treatments administered include:
- Blood Transfusions
- Chemotherapy
- Iron Transfusions
- Remicade Infusions
- Antibiotic Therapies
- Chronic Kidney Disease Monitoring
- Hydration
- Rheumatoid Arthritis Treatments
- Osteoporosis Treatments
- Work independently and be able to "hit the ground running."
- Must be able to access mediports and have experience with central lines and peripheral IV insertion.
- The infusion suite offers private treatment bays and rooms for patient comfort and infection protection.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current infusion nursing experience.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is required and non-negotiable.
- New Hampshire RN license or compact RN license valid in New Hampshire.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- Experience with mediports, central lines, and peripheral IV insertion.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Traveler permanent address must be included in profile.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Infusion Card.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
Additional Information
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
- No non-billable orientation overtime or holiday multipliers apply.
- Call and call-back pay is not applicable for this assignment.
- Scheduling requests and time off must be finalized before or at submission; requests after offer or during interview will not be approved and may result in offer rescindment.
