Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room, Florida

Work Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- On-call required
Specialty Focus
- Operating Room with experience in Urology and Gynecology
- General Surgery also involved
Job Summary
- Coordinate and provide direct nursing care for assigned patients
- Educate patients and families
- Support transitions of care
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care
- Provide leadership through preceptor and informal leadership roles
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and committees or projects
- Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in leadership roles
- Experience in General Surgery
- Experience in Urology
- Experience in Gynecology / OB/GYN
