Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulator

Location: Palmer, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Coordinate patient care during surgery, ensuring sterility and managing supplies
Document surgical procedures accurately
Float between assignments as needed; call required
No block scheduling or 48-hour shifts
Patient ratio: 1:1
Operating rooms: 6 beds available
Scrubs provided
Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in vascular and urology surgeries
BLS and ACLS certifications
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
Return to office (RTO) maximum of 2 weeks with blackout on July 4th
Submission must include home address and candidate’s Social Security Number on tax documents only (not in emails or packets)
