Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Temp)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal imaging views as requested by physicians.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at bedside.
- Set exposure factors such as time and distance on equipment controls.
- Operate film processing equipment.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
- Maintain excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Dress code includes hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain scrubs; no hooded sweatshirts; closed-toe shoes; hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient and highly experienced with:
- Fluoroscopy
- Digital Radiography
- Portable X-Ray units
- Operating Room C-arm equipment
- Experience working with all age groups.
- New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent state license).
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) will not be considered.
- Requests for time off must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of time off allowed during the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

- Orientation is non-billable.
- Scheduling requests must be made at submission; requests after offer or interview will not be approved and may result in rescinded offers.
