Surgical Technologist - Iowa (Contract)

Decorah, Iowa

13 weeks minimum

Job Description

Full-time contract position as a Surgical Technologist
Experience required in the following surgical areas:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- ENT
- OBGYN
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Dental
Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call

Schedule

Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (start time may vary as early as 6:00 AM depending on surgery caseload)
On-call rotation approximately 1 night every 2 weeks
On-call every 5th to 6th weekend
Holiday on-call rotation included

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
