Location: Richmond, Virginia

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology
Beds: 4 holding spaces
Staffing (fully staffed): 5 RNs, 4 Techs, 1 PCT
Day Shift: 2 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 PCT
Night Shift: On call
Equipment: Phillips Biplane
EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

PICC lines
Central lines (C-lines)
Paracentesis
Thoracentesis
Embolizations
Filter placements
Neuro procedures
Biopsies

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
Certification: ARRT (RT-R)
BLS certification
Special Procedures Tech - Radiology experience
Knowledge or training regarding the safe handling of hazardous drugs according to USP 800 guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

Neuro Interventional Radiology experience

Work Schedule

Approximately 36 hours per week
After-hours coverage on weekdays (6 PM – 7 AM)
24-hour weekend coverage (on call)
