Registered Nurse - CVICU/CCU Nights
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Overview
- Provide nursing care primarily in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with coverage in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
- Work in a smaller independent hospital setting serving the local community.
- Facility includes 2 Cath Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab.
- Opportunity to work during the winter months in Colorado, near Vail and Aspen.
Shift Details
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Weekend rotation required
- Must participate in call rotation: 1 call shift every 2 weeks may replace guaranteed hours if staffing needs arise
- Average 36 hours per week

- Newly remodeled furnished studio and 1-bedroom apartments available nearby (half block from hospital)

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 3 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
