Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Location: Marshall, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being.
Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment throughout all nursing process phases: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and other technicians.
Collaborate with the nursing team and other disciplines to deliver patient care.
Complete timely documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, responses to treatment, and track patient progress.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience.
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR).
Prior charge nurse experience.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Michigan.

Preferred Qualifications

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
