Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Shift Length: 12 hours per day
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Emergency Room.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule includes 36-40 hours per week with overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates throughout the year.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Illinois.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Emergency Room or relevant specialty.
• Certifications required:

  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
• License verification and copies of required certifications.
• Work history/resume submission required.
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• First-time travelers are welcome; no prior travel experience required.

Additional Information

• Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
• OT/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x.
• Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with a minimum 2-hour call back.
• On-call pay available.
• Charge/Preceptor pay available.
• Orientation dates are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
