Description
Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health
Location: Gallatin, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care on a 12-bed Behavioral Health Unit (Level III Trauma Center)
- Patient ratio approximately 1:6
- Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
- Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in geriatric psychiatric nursing
- Experience on medical floors
