Description
X-Ray Technologist
Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 07:00 AM – 09:00 PM
Job Summary
- Perform routine radiography imaging.
- Assist with Fluoroscopy procedures including bariums exams, arthrograms, myelograms, hysterosalpingograms, trauma cases, and various Operating Room procedures.
- Assist with Interventional Radiology (IR) cases such as nephrostomy tubes, drainage catheter placement, power port removals, tunneled catheters, pelvic venograms, and other procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and sterile technique.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Work effectively as part of a team and be self-motivated.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
