Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry
Location
- Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Unit Description
- Trauma Surgical Unit caring for acute trauma and surgical patients
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Patient population includes trauma, orthopedic, and urology patients
- Interdisciplinary team approach involving family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists
- Individualized patient care for illness, surgery, testing, and observation
Work Schedule
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as required
- Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
