Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule Notes: Every third weekend and holidays including Labor Day; varied start times
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
- Emergency Department experience within the last year.

- Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission.
- License and certifications must be uploaded with front and back images where applicable.
- All documentation must be uploaded into the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
