Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule Notes: Every third weekend and holidays including Labor Day; varied start times


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid RN license in Iowa.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course).
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
  • Emergency Department experience within the last year.

  • Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission.
  • License and certifications must be uploaded with front and back images where applicable.
  • All documentation must be uploaded into the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
