Location: Portland, Oregon

- Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM (4x10 hour shifts)
- On-call: Yes, 3 shifts per month

Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background Check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- Education Verification (degree/diploma/transcript as applicable)
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work
- Drug Screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
- Immunizations and Health Requirements:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer or declination
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required
Additional Requirements
- Must complete annual regulatory and facility-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp) as applicable
- Must comply with float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to other nearby facilities)
- On-call shifts required (3 per month)
- Color blind testing may be required if specified by unit
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units
Notes
- No weekend shifts required
- 48-hour shifts are not approved
- Facility provides scrub colors for OR/Cath Lab; other units allow any color
- Parking is free for staff
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
This position is ideal for X-Ray Technologists seeking a travel contract in a large, acute care teaching hospital setting with a consistent day shift schedule and limited weekend requirements.
