Description
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Radiologic Technologist) - Contract
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Operate a variety of radiographic equipment including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
- Provide flexible coverage across multiple facilities with varied shift lengths:
- Variable 8-hour and 10-hour shifts at one facility
- 12-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities at another
- Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, at a clinic
- Average of 3 days of call per month.
- No guarantee of hours or approved time off.
- Must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Hawaii by the start of assignment.
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Information
- Must be able to function independently without supervision.
- Prior travel experience is required (indicated by the need to arrive early for onboarding and flexibility across multiple sites).
- Flexibility to cover multiple facilities as needed.
Shift Details
- Days, varied shifts with call averaging 3 days per month.
- No guaranteed hours or guaranteed time off.
