Location: Burbank, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40

Call Requirements

• Call frequency: Approximately 4-6 calls in a 6-week period
• Weekend call is included in the 4-6 calls

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)

Background and Screening Requirements

• Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• Education verification required (degree or diploma related to specialty)
• Drug screen: 9-panel within 12 months of start (does not require annual update)
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use (travel only)
• State-specific background checks and registries as applicable (e.g., WA State Patrol Search)
• Social Security Card and Government-Issued Photo ID required for I9 verification

Health and Immunization Requirements

• TB test (IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs) within 12 months, updated annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer, or signed declination
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series or signed declination
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer, or signed declination
• Seasonal Flu vaccine required during flu season (9/1–3/30) or signed declination
• COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to infection prevention measures
• Fit mask test required annually (travel only), except not required for Radiation Therapists at this location

Competencies and Training

• Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific Workramp modules via LMS
• Epic training modules required and must be completed within a week of orientation (transcripts required)
• Skills checklist required annually for applicable units

Additional Requirements

• Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other nearby facilities within the system
• Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required for badge issuance
• WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses Demographic Attestation required if applicable
