Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Unit: Main Operating Room
- Number of ORs: 23
- Staff on Day Shift: Approximately 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- EMR System: Meditech
- Typical Procedures: Elective surgeries including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
- No trauma cases handled on this unit
- Work environment emphasizes flexibility, outstanding teamwork, and a collaborative culture
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures is a plus

- This is a competitive market; candidates with the preferred skills may be prioritized
- The unit values flexibility and teamwork among staff
- Day shift position (7 AM to 7 PM) with a typical staffing pattern as described above
