Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Englewood, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with a 100-bed hospital.
• Unit staffed with approximately 9 full-time employees, including 5 RNs, 2 RCIS, and 1 Director.
• Typical procedures include Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Pacemaker (PPM) insertion, Stress tests, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and Port insertion.
• Team-oriented environment requiring flexibility and the ability to work 4-5 days per week.
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• ICU or Cath Lab experience of at least 1 year is preferred

• Typical shifts include AM and PM options.
• Scrub color codes are used for different clinical roles (not required knowledge but part of unit culture).
• The unit uses Cath Lab equipment and electronic medical records (EMR).
