Job Description
- Provide nursing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications required (must be American Heart Association issued):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Schedule & Hours
- Approximately 36 hours per week
