Description
Mammography Technologist
Location: West Chester Township, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Job Overview
- Operate Hologic mammography equipment at all locations.
- Perform mammography procedures in compliance with required training and certifications.
Required Qualifications
Licensure & Certifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Ohio.
- ARRT certification.
- ARRT Mammography certificate.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year.
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Proof of immunizations or immunity for:
- MMR (2 vaccinations or positive IGG titer; booster required if negative/equivocal)
- Varicella (2 vaccinations or positive IGG titer; booster required if negative/equivocal)
- Hepatitis B (series of 3, positive titer, or declination accepted)
- Tuberculosis test completed within 30 days prior to assignment start (QuantiFERON/T-Spot or 2-step skin test; chest x-ray if past positive).
- Physical/Health statement within 1 year.
- Influenza vaccine recommended during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31), with medical/religious exemptions considered case-by-case.
Background & Screening
- Criminal background check completed within 90 days prior to start, including 7-year county and national checks, SSN trace, and sex offender registry.
- 9-panel drug screen completed within 90 days prior to start (marijuana excluded); must be repeated after any break in service.
- Two professional references from a charge nurse or higher within the last 2 years.
Documentation & Onboarding
- Current valid driver’s license or government-issued ID (front side only).
- Highest level of education verification (transcripts or third-party verification accepted).
- Recent color badge photo (taken within last 6 months, no selfies or filters, solid background).
- Skills checklist current within 12 months prior to assignment start.
- Internal competency checklist to be completed within 2 weeks after start.
- Annual compliance training module completion certificate.
- I-9 E-Verify attestation.
Additional Notes
- All required credentials and documentation must be completed and verified prior to or at onboarding.
- Instant criminal background searches are not allowed.
- Immunization declinations accepted only where specified and with appropriate exemptions.
- No prior travel experience requirement specified.
