Description
Echo Technician (Long-Term Assignment)
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Mostly 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Potential requirement to cover open weekend shifts
- No on-call required
Job Description
- Must be certified by ARDMS or RCS
- Training from a Cardiovascular program required
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience or equivalent required
- Rhode Island state licensure is not required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS or RCS certification
- Training from a Cardiovascular program
- Minimum of 3 years of Echo-Vascular Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an Echo Technologist
Immunization and Health Requirements
- COVID-19 vaccine and booster required (medical exemptions reviewed prior to start)
- Influenza vaccine required (September-May, medical exemptions reviewed)
- MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer for all three
- Hepatitis B: 3 immunization series, positive titer, or declination form
- Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or history
- Tdap: Proof of immunization within last 10 years
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within the past year
- Fit test for N95 mask (specific models) within the past year
Additional Onboarding Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License or State ID
- Federal, County, National, and Statewide background checks including OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM searches (within 6 months of start)
- Employment verification for the last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 professional references (at least 1 supervisory)
- Signed confidentiality agreement before start
- Completion of required orientation and clearance forms prior to start
- Annual completion of COVID and flu policy form
