Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient (Days)

Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders for adult and pediatric patients.
• Deliver direct therapeutic intervention and education to help patients strengthen communication skills.
• Services include:

  • Speech and language evaluation and treatment
  • Swallowing evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow
  • Cognitive evaluation and retraining
  • Treatment of neurological disorders
• Work with rehabilitation equipment such as language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current Speech and Language Pathology experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to Speech Language Pathology current within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Must have own vehicle for commuting to the facility.
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local travelers within 50 miles are not considered).
• Prior travel experience of at least 6 months is highly preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience is preferred.

Additional Information

• Non-billable orientation of 8 hours.
• Call, call-back, and charge responsibilities are not applicable.
