Description
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient (Days)
Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide assessment and treatment of communication problems and speech disorders for adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver direct therapeutic intervention and education to help patients strengthen communication skills.
- Services include:
- Speech and language evaluation and treatment
- Swallowing evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow
- Cognitive evaluation and retraining
- Treatment of neurological disorders
- Work with rehabilitation equipment such as language/communication aids, devices, and wheelchairs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of current Speech and Language Pathology experience.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Work history and skills checklist relevant to Speech Language Pathology current within 1 year.
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
- Must have own vehicle for commuting to the facility.
- Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local travelers within 50 miles are not considered).
- Prior travel experience of at least 6 months is highly preferred.
- EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
Additional Information
- Non-billable orientation of 8 hours.
- Call, call-back, and charge responsibilities are not applicable.
- All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests after offer may result in rescinded offers.
- Traveler’s permanent address and any requested time off must be included in the profile at submission.
