Special Procedures Tech - Radiology (Travel Assignment)

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Unit Information

  • Department: Interventional Radiology
  • Setting: Outpatient and inpatient procedures
  • Shift Hours: Day shift 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; on-call required nights and 1 weekend per month
  • Procedure Volume: Approximately 10-12 procedures per day
  • Equipment: 3 procedure rooms (2 Philips biplanes, 1 GE single), MAC Lab documentation
  • Staff Composition: 2 nurses, 4 radiologic technologists

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Kansas
  • Minimum 6 months of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior stroke experience
  • Experience working in large trauma facilities
  • Prior travel experience is a plus but not required
