Night shift: 7 PM – 7 AM

Job Summary

Provide independent nursing care in a similar clinical setting.
Deliver routine and complex care with long-range planning.
Manage clinical situations by making assignments and delegating to other care providers.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year

Licenses & Certifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification

Additional Notes

Position requires adherence to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
Competency expectations include leadership at various levels (self, others, leaders)
