Description
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiovascular Lab (Cardiac Cath Lab)
- Number of Beds: 4
- Number of Staff: 12 (Day Shift: 3 Techs, 9 RNs including 2 travelers)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: Phillips Fluoro
- EMR Systems: Mac Lab, Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Cardiac drips
- Angioplasty
- Stenting
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience (minimum 1 year) within the last year
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mac Lab and Meditech EMR systems
