Description
Echo Technician (Traveler)
Location: Redding, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
On-call: May be required
Job Description
- Perform duties as an Echo Technician.
- Must hold all necessary licenses and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Echo Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
- Valid professional license/certification for Echo Technician.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Completion of workplace violence prevention training (DCI/BVP).
- Completion of a minimum 10-panel drug screening including THC saliva test (per California law).
- COVID-19 vaccination: 2 doses plus booster or completed declination.
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B (no declinations accepted), Influenza (no declinations accepted during flu season), and Tdap (no declinations accepted).
- Annual TB test within one year of start date.
- Annual respirator fit test (3M 1860(s) or approved equivalent).
- Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work (within 60 days of start).
- Completion of sexual harassment prevention training valid for 2 years.
- National criminal background check within one year of start date.
- Valid driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
- Up-to-date resume reflecting recent work history.
- Two professional references required, including one from a manager or direct supervisor.
- Signed current job description (within the year).
- Education verification (diploma or transcripts if third-party verification unavailable).
- Completion of core competencies exam and specialty exam with a minimum score of 80%.
- Completion of skills checklist (does not expire during assignment).
- Prime agency attestation and exclusion list (SAM/EPLS) search completed.
- Clear, professional badge photo (JPEG format).
- Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation).
Additional Information
- Primary source verification of all licenses and certifications will be conducted within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration.
- Some testing and training may be completed through approved platforms such as Relias or Healthcare Staffing Hire.
- Name verification affidavit required if there are discrepancies between credentials.
- Onboarding requires all credentials and documentation to be current and complete prior to start.
