Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Santa Fe, New Mexico
Job Summary
- Provides independent nursing care in a clinical setting involving Pain Procedures, Pre-Op, Operating Room (OR), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Delivers routine and complex care, manages clinical contingencies, and delegates tasks appropriately.
- Follows nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring effectiveness and side effects.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Educates patients, families, and caregivers based on assessed learning needs.

- Travel assignment
- Full-time, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year.
- Experience in Pain Management, Pre-Op, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Work Conditions
- Weekend work required.
- On-call duties required.
- Floating between locations required.
- Blocked scheduling not accommodated.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
