Description
Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room
Location
- Kennewick, Washington
- Southeastern Washington, serving the Tri-Cities area (Kennewick, Pasco, Richland)
- Facility has 6 Operating Rooms equipped with Stryker equipment
- Patient population primarily adult (no pediatrics under certain weight)
- Electronic Health Record system: Paragon
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 40
- Call requirements: 1 weeknight per month, 1 weekend per month
Unit Profile
- Trauma Level: 3
- Operating Room department
- No current unit supervisor (position recruiting)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Washington
- Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Skills in multiple surgical specialties as listed above
Additional Information
- Dress code: Scrubs provided (mint green)
- Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and sweatpants
- Call schedule includes weekend and weeknight coverage
- No float requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Must be located at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment
