Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Nights
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Provide cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and respiratory care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric.
- Deliver care across all hospital areas including emergency, in-patient, and out-patient settings.
- Work night shift: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.
- Must be healthy enough to safely function in a high-altitude environment (~8,000 ft elevation).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado.
- At least 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates.
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Additional Information
- Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
- Housing costs are high, especially in winter; typical rent for a 1-bedroom apartment in nearby towns is approximately $3,500/month.
- Not accepting Respiratory Therapist Onsite Managers (RTOM).
