Description

Inpatient Physical Therapist – Zanesville, Ohio

Job Type

  • Contract position
  • Contract length: 12 weeks

Work Setting

  • Inpatient acute care facility (Level 3 Trauma Center)
  • Patient population includes adult, geriatric, and young adult
  • Semi-complex patients with multiple orthopedic and internal injuries
  • Common diagnoses: Orthopedics/Joint Replacement post-op, neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular (including CABG), vestibular, general surgery, medically complex/intubated patients in critical care

Schedule

  • Day shift with varied start times
  • Typical schedule options:
    • Five 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday (shift times 8:00-4:30 or 9:00-5:30)
    • Alternative schedule: four 10-hour shifts Wednesday-Saturday (7:00-5:30)
  • Approximately 40 hours per week
  • If working primarily Monday-Friday, must cover 2+ weekend date shifts per month with some schedule flexibility

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Ohio
  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Information

  • Facility may cancel shifts up to 36 hours during the 13-week contract period
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and approved at time of submission
  • Agency contracts must exactly match confirmation details (start/end dates, RTO) to maintain vendor status
