Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Job Description
- Work in a Medical Surgical Orthopedics unit.
- Level I Trauma center environment.
- Team nursing ratios (discuss specifics with manager during interview).
- On-call and weekend shifts as needed (no weekend block scheduling, but weekend blocks may be considered).
- No local candidates accepted (strict 100-mile radius rule).
- First-time travel nurses not accepted.
- Start date: ASAP.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Tennessee.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- One completed travel nursing assignment.
- Experience in Orthopedics and Level I Trauma center patients.
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
