Description
Imaging X-Ray Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging) - Contract
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Operate a variety of radiographic equipment including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
- Work independently without supervision.
- Maintain radiation safety protocols and wear a dosimetry badge.
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred.
- Average of 3 days of call per month.
- Shifts are varied with no guarantee of hours or time off.
- Must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date for employee health and HR clearance appointments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Hawaii.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Information
- Must be able to attend employee health appointment on the Friday prior to the Monday start date.
- No guarantee of hours or requested time off.
