Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Note: Candidates with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract.
Department Overview
- Fast-paced Interventional Radiology department supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists.
- Equipment includes Philips rooms (one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room.
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Staffed Beds: 325
- Charting System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
- ARRT (R) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 and state requirements)
- Background Check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must include SSN trace, death master index, sex offender registry, FACIS Level 3, education verification, MVR (if applicable), and international background if applicable.
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated monthly.
- Education Verification required for all candidates.
- WA State Patrol Search (WATCH) required within 90 days of start for Washington placements.
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work.
- Drug Screen: 9 Panel within 12 months of start.
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- TDAP within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted)
- Hepatitis B (vaccination series or signed declination)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance required for travel candidates starting on or after 2/5/2024.
- Fit Mask testing required for travel candidates starting on or after 2/5/2024 (updated annually).
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment.
Additional Requirements
- All requested regulatory and facility-specific annual training modules must be completed via the designated LMS system.
- Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required.
- Skills checklist and competency exams as applicable to specialty.
- Radiation badge issued by facility (if applicable).

- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract.
- All requested Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be included in submission.
- Candidates must be prepared to float to other nearby facilities if required.
- Pending licenses or certifications are not accepted.
- Background checks with open/active felony cases or multiple DUI charges will result in cancellation.
