NICU Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Everett, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Level II NICU at a Pavilion for Women and Children (Pacific Campus)
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 - 7:00)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Start Date: ASAP
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Float Requirement: Yes, float to Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (babies only)
- Patient Population: Neonates 22 weeks gestation and greater, including prematurity, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), risk for alteration of nutrition, and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) exams
- Equipment Used: Conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, nasal cannula
- Procedures Not Performed: Surgeries, ostomies, tracheostomies
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington
- Minimum 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Guaranteed Hours: Clinician may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
- Charting System: EPIC
- Dress Code: Scrub color flexible except no reddish orange permitted
- Parking: Facility-paid
- Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may float to other nearby facilities
- Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required prior to start
- Training Modules: Annual completion of regulatory, specialty-specific, regional core, and facility-specific Workramp modules as applicable
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency and other exams as required by specialty/unit
- References and Employment History: Employment application covering at least last 5 years required; references must align with specialty

- Must submit all requested Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of application
- Background checks and education verifications are strictly enforced with specific state and facility requirements
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
