Description
Cardiovascular Technologist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Acts as a critical member of the patient care team in the cardiac catheterization department.
- Collaborates with care team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Promotes patient- and family-focused care in all interactions.
- Shift options:
- (3) 12-hour shifts or (4) 10-hour shifts
- Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible (1-3 weeknights and possibly 1 weekend during the contract, but no weekend or holiday worked shifts guaranteed).
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cardiovascular Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of prior travel experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
Additional Information
- Positive PPD requires a negative chest x-ray after the positive test (optional but recommended).
- TB symptom survey required if positive PPD (optional).
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation.
- Fit testing cannot be done onsite; must be completed prior to start date.
- Some locations may allow fit test updates if assignment is extended.
Shift Details
- Scheduled shift: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Call includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays but no guaranteed weekend or holiday worked shifts.
This position is ideal for experienced Cardiovascular Technologists with prior travel experience seeking a 13-week assignment with a focus on cardiac catheterization procedures and patient-centered care.
