Operating Room Circulator RN - Washington
Job Type
- Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (5 shifts of 8 hours), with rotating call coverage
- Hours per week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the operating room as a circulating and/or scrub nurse.
- Promote and restore patient health through the nursing process.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
- Supervise assigned team members.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage.
- Use nursing assessment skills to recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutically effective work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
