Description
Travel RN - Cardiovascular Surgery
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Number of ORs: 3
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: RNs and Surgical Techs available
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with on-call requirements
- Floating Policy: Not applicable
- Dress Code: Facility-provided scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Skills and Experience
- Circulating RN experience in CVOR required
- Procedures performed on unit include:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS)
Additional Information
- The unit uses advanced cardiovascular surgical technology
- Patient care is one-on-one in a specialized CVOR setting
