Description

Case Manager (Registered Nurse) - Travel/Contract

Location: Kinston, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Provide comprehensive case management including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient needs. Focus on enhancing patient management quality, promoting continuity of care, and cost-effectiveness through case management, utilization review, and discharge planning.


Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts)
  • No call required
  • Orientation: 24 hours

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of Acute Care Case Management experience
  • Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
  • One completed travel assignment

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
