Registered Nurse (Resource Pool - All Units)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Overview

This position covers multiple units including Medsurg, Stepdown, and Telemetry within a resource pool. Nurses must be versatile and strong in various specialties such as Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, General Medicine, and Oncology.

Units included:

• MedSurg (Stepdown & Floor)
• Stepdown/Floor
• Long term antibiotic infusion
• Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient
• Ortho Neuro
• Neuro Stepdown & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Surgical Oncology/MedSurg
• Medical Oncology/Stepdown
• Weekend nightshift cluster

Typical nurse-to-patient ratios:

• Stepdown: 1:3
• Medsurg/Telemetry: 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Prior travel experience preferred

Additional Requirements & Notes

• Must be well-rounded across multiple specialties listed above
• Royal Blue scrubs required
• Driver’s license address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after completing a full year at this facility
• Travel teams must be submitted together
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; submissions may be held if the position is full
• Individual unit requirements apply as per internal guidelines

This role is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable working across a variety of acute care units with a strong clinical skill set and familiarity with trauma and telemetry care.
