Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Overview
- Backfill position in the Emergency Department.
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
- The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited hospital with certifications including Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Certified Primary Stroke Center.
- The hospital has 199 beds and offers a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current certifications in:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
