Description
Registered Nurse (CVICU/CCU) - Night Shift
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including weekend rotation
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Call Requirement: Must participate in call rotation and take 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with coverage in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
- Work in a smaller independent hospital setting serving the local community.
- Facility includes 2 Cath Labs, one of which is a Hybrid Cath Lab.
- Must have experience with Day 0 CVICU patients (immediate post-op care).
Housing
- Potential housing available: newly remodeled studio and one-bedroom apartments located half a block from the hospital.
- Apartments are fully furnished and include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry.
- No deposit required; availability is based on assignment duration.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience
- CVICU experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association
