Location: Rutherfordton, North Carolina

Unit & Facility Overview
- Unit: Women’s Services (Antepartum Department)
- Beds: 3 LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery), 4 Triage, 2 Antepartum, 10 Postpartum/GYN/Pediatrics
- Patient Population: Maternal, newborn, adult, geriatric, pediatrics
- Patient Ratios: Based on acuity
- Equipment: Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): MediTech
- Weekend Hours: Every 3rd weekend
- Call Requirements: None
- Float Requirements: Yes
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Gynecology
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 3 years of OB/GYN nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Labor and Delivery, Maternal-Newborn, and Pediatrics nursing
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients and Pediatric patients
- Experience in charge nurse roles
- Current certifications:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- STABLE (post-resuscitation/pre-transport care of sick infants)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring

- Orientation offered on scheduled dates throughout the year
