Shift Details

• Day shift options:

  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Total hours per week: 36

Patient Census

• Average daily census approximately 20 patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arkansas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
• Certifications (must be current and issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association):

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or attestation
• Background checks including:

  • 7-year criminal history check covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Social Security trace
  • County, nationwide, sex offender checks
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks (updated every contract renewal)
• Physical exam verifying ability to meet physical demands (initial and annual)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (annual updates required)
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, vaccine series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test within last 12 months (instant acceptable)
• Seasonal influenza vaccination documentation (required annually during flu season; no declinations accepted; medical/religious exemptions require documentation and mask-wearing during flu season)
• COVID-19 PCR nasal pharyngeal test within 3 days of start
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Completed employment application/resume
• Skills checklist updated annually for applicable unit
• NURSYS verification for RN license

Competency Requirements

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam (must meet passing score)
• General competency exams as applicable

This position requires a qualified ER Registered Nurse with relevant certifications and compliance documentation, ready to work day shifts in a travel contract role for approximately 13 weeks.
