X-Ray Technologist Travel Position - Michigan

Job Details

• Location: Garden City, Michigan
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Valid X-Ray Technologist license appropriate for Michigan
• Current AART certification
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Must pass a background check and drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC; CA locations require additional saliva THC test)
• Completion of skill checklist and records of nursing-related competencies/exams
• Must complete and pass the following exams with a minimum score of 80%:

  • Core Competencies Exam
  • Specialty Exam
• Annual respirator fit test (3M 1860(s) mask or facility-approved alternative)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • COVID-19 (2 vaccines + booster or declination)
  • MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (3 immunizations, immune titer, or declination)
  • Influenza vaccine or declination (required Nov 1 – Mar 31)
  • Varicella (vaccination or titer)
  • Tdap (declinations not accepted in some states)
• Tuberculosis test within 1 year of start date
• Annual physical/health statement confirming ability to work (must be completed within 60 days of start)
• National criminal background check within 1 year of start date (some state-specific timing requirements apply)
• Completion of agency attestation and exclusion list (SAM/EPLS) search

Additional Requirements

• Updated resume reflecting recent and accurate work history (required at offer acceptance)
• Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor
• Some facilities may require a badge photo (clear headshot with plain background)
• Name verification affidavit if there are discrepancies between credentials

This position is ideal for experienced X-Ray Technologists holding a CT certification who are prepared to work night shifts on a travel assignment in Michigan.
