Ultrasound Technician

Location: Helena, Montana
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (8-hour day shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform ultrasound exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Must be proficient in general exams, vascular ultrasound, and all trimesters of OB ultrasound.
• Some pediatric ultrasound experience is required.
• Will not perform ultrasound-guided procedures or breast scans.
• Equipment used: GE ultrasound machines.
• Clinical areas include vascular, general abdomen, abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), OB (including biophysical profiles), thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
• Professional scrubs attire.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required; first-time travelers will be considered.
• Must have OB ultrasound experience.
• ARDMS certification required and must be active at time of application.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred.

Additional Information

• No on-call duties.
• 70-mile radius travel rule applies.
