Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed

Unit and Patient Population
- Unit: ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)
- Beds: 16
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
- Common Diagnoses/Treatments: STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, Alcohol Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR
- Equipment: Baxter pumps
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost
- Trauma Level: III
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

- Orientation: Weekly
- Attendance Policy: One call-out allowed per contract; second call-out requires documentation and is reviewed case-by-case
- No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts may be considered but are not guaranteed
- Local Area: Outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, swimming, hiking; local dining and breweries; proximity to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, and San Diego
- Dress Code: Scrubs (specific color not stated)

Summary
This is a travel RN position in a Level III trauma community hospital ICU with a blended ICU patient population. The role requires at least 2 years of ICU experience and prior travel experience. The assignment includes 36 guaranteed hours per week on a 3x12 hour shift schedule, with call and float responsibilities. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale are mandatory.
