Registered Nurse (ER) - Travel Opportunity

Location: Show Low, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Job Overview

• Work in a regional hospital located in the White Mountains of Arizona, offering access to outdoor activities and proximity to Flagstaff and Phoenix.
• Emergency Room setting with 30 private rooms, including a six-room Emergency Department Observation Unit (EDOU).
• Additional 6 fast track beds supported by a Physician Assistant for minor, non-urgent cases.
• Facility is a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4.
• Average patient volume approximately 100 patients per day.
• Support staff includes 5 techs during peak hours.
• Patient cases include trauma, cardiac, neurological, and a wide variety of emergency conditions.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Allscripts - Sunrise.
• Medication dispensing system: Omnicell.
• Scrub color policy: any color except all black; scrubs are not provided.
• Night shift schedule with 3 shifts of 12 hours each.

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Certifications required:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • PALS (American Heart Association)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

• This is a travel nurse position in an ER setting.
• No prior travel experience explicitly required.
