Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Orthopedics

Location: Wesley Chapel, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Summary

• Perform radiologic procedures primarily in an orthopedic clinic setting.
• Handle 50-70 X-rays per day using Sedecal equipment.
• Work with adult orthopedic patients including those with conditions involving spine, hand, upper extremities, foot, ankle, and lower extremities.
• Utilize Epic and GE PACS electronic medical records systems.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on orthopedic care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Florida.
• Minimum 2 years of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Orthopedic radiology experience preferred.

Work Environment & Culture

• Clinic setting with 20 beds.
• Collaborative team environment.
• Dress code: Scrubs only (any color acceptable).
• No unacceptable attire beyond scrubs.

Patient Population

• Orthopedic patients including adult reconstruction, foot/ankle, spine, hand, and upper extremity cases.
