Description

Echosonographer

Location: Great Falls, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
  • Assist in transesophageal echocardiography procedures.
  • Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results.
  • Consult with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard exams and determine technical factors.
  • Participate in call rotation approximately 10-12 days per month, including holiday coverage.
  • Receive direction from providers and department managers/supervisors.

Schedule

  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Call coverage approximately 10-12 days per month

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist, with experience within the last year.
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Current certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) credential.

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is required.
