Registered Nurse (LTC/SNF) - Luverne, Minnesota
Job Details
- Specialty: Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) RN
- Location: Luverne, Minnesota
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days and Nights (6am-2:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 6pm-6:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Bed Count: 51 beds
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 2 nurses during the day, 1 nurse overnight
- EMR System: PCC
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday after Labor Day (Labor Day is required)
- Shift Length: Mostly 12-hour shifts, some 8-hour shifts
- Orientation: 2 hours with lead team plus 1-2 shifts shadowing another staff member
- Patient Population: Dementia and geriatrics
- Charge Nurse: Must be able to take charge
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of 2 years of Nursing Home experience, including experience within the last year
- Skilled Nursing experience
- Experience in Charge Nurse roles
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Information
- No on-call or call-back shifts available or billable
- Backouts or quits with less than 14 days’ notice incur a $500 fee
- Local pay rates apply within 80 miles or if using employer housing (note: pay details not included)
